Postdoc/Assistant Professor, non-tenured (Wissenschaftlicher Assistent/Oberassistent) in Evolutionary Auditory Neuroscience

The Auditory Neuroscience group (Head: Benedikt Grothe) invites applicants for a six-year (3+3) postdoc position at the Division of Neurobiology, Faculty of Biology at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitaet Munich (LMU), Germany. An additional extension (4 years) is possible upon habilitation (post-doctoral qualification).

Candidates are expected to perform research on the evolution of auditory brainstem circuits, ideally with a focus on spatial processing.

Candidates should have experience with sequencing methods, in situ hybridization, cell cultures or related techniques.

Salary level will be A13/14 or E13/14.

The position is available from March 2020 or anytime thereafter.
